Casting set by Reeves Ghoring. Side plate, Butt Plate and Trigger Guard.

Side by side compared with Italian castings.

All parts are slightly oversized so that they can be fitted to the Italian or Japanese stocks with filing and inletting. The butt plate just needs need to be filed to shape.

These were used to defarb Navy Arms and Dixie Gun Works Italian and Japanese made brown bess muskets.

FYI these are not long land parts, they are 7/8 scale parts that can be used on smaller muskets.

Use as an investment casting or part for a defarb project.
