Hey fellers, finished the latest knife today (for me  ). Found a old calf shinbone last huntin season and added an antiqued forged blade of 1080 HC steel. Put a little rawhide wrap on it and then had Miss Tudy work up a "repaired" sheath for it. It's a sash style sheath with two loops on either side for added security.
Hopefully we'll get to try it out this fall!!
Thanks for looking, Bud

Looks real good Nifeman!
You got the knives down and Miss Tudy has got those sheaths down pat.
I am goin to be building a Roundtop trade knife. I want to do knife with some beads in the Indian style. I would like to make a rawhide wrap sheath for it. Something with a fringe or maybe a little bead and bone with the hair tufts.
I will be honest I dont' know really where to start on one of the rawhide sheaths as this will be my first. About all I know at this point is you wrap the leather with the rawhide but not sure which end to even start on!!!!!!
I have seen some of the fine work Miss Tudy does. Any information you might could share on this subject would be greatly appreciated!
