I ordered two tins. Only one of my percussion guns wants #10 caps. I've got plenty of #11 caps. But these have been impossible to find. So two tins for about $25 plus a $25 hazmat fee plus taxes and shipping comes to something in the neighborhood of $60. SHEESH. Well, these should last me just about forever, anyway. You do what you've got to do. Thanks for the heads-up about availability.

I just ordered some and got FREE SHIPPING on orders of $50 or more -- great deal:ghostly:

NO HAZMAT CHARGES were applied to order ---
No $25 hazmat from basspro?
Seems kind of wild as they charged me and I ordered 1000 should be here monday.
No shipping charges other than that for mine.

Thanks for the head's up. Just ordered 10 tins. Total extended price was 171.00.
Combined with what already have, including 1000 made caps I did last year, this will last me the rest of my life.
This is why I worked and saved for nearly 40 years - to now be able to buy 'peace of mind' in my retirement.

Well - I just got a notice from them that my order has an "adjustment" to it -- they realized that my order contains a hazmat material, so I am getting an extra $25 charge added to my bill  .

If you go to "I Love Muzzleloading" on YouTube he has the latest info on percussion caps. He said that the manufactures only make them in batches once a year in May & June (I think that's what he said).
