rendering bees wax?

I rendered some wax this weekend was wondering after you scrape the combs off whatever they are stuck to, think plastic or thick or on wire etc what kind of cloth sack do you stick it in to keep most of the pollen out when it melts? I was considering an old t shirt? is this too tight of a weave to let the wax float up to the top when it melts?

You can use most anything to filter beeswax. Old pair of nylons, T-shirt, cheese cloth, etc.
