There's parts of a Renegade in there but once I
Put the GM .62 smoothie(now turned down to 1/2 oct 1/2 round)and the Pecatonica stock and the brass ramrod and a triggerguard that I liked that only left the trigger and lock of the Renegade.
This stock handles so much better than the original, especially with shot in the smoothie.
Bores are so small on these barrels that with my .600 balls I have to use .007 muslim patches
but Walmart has this at .99 per yard. I've picked up over 50 fired patches that were shot with from 70 to 120 grs. of 3F and they are all perfect, no holes or tears, all could be used again, thin but tough stuff. Very accurate.

PS, It weighs 61/2 lbs. a joy to carry.

This is a target shot offhand from 25 yds. with the Renegade .62 GM smoothie. Missed 2 bees but with no rear sight I was still happy. 70 gr. 3F
.600 ball .007 patch.

I moved my front sight slightly to the right and it shoots more to the center now.

Nice looking gun and an inovative way to get the most out of a production gun, we should call you Jed Clampett if you are shooting flys off the cement wall....

Not just shooting flies, but shootin the wings off the critters  OOPS! sorry..........Them is Bee's

A few years ago I had a rust pitted bore on a 54 cal TC Renegade the rest of the gun was mint condition I had bought for $160.00. I should of had the bore just opened to 62cal smooth bore. I wonder how much it would have cost to had the barrel drilled out smooth and also how much to re-freshen a rust/pitted bore from 54cal to 56 cal. Now I wish that I never would have sold it.

10 guage, I think they're all gone now but Green Mt. was selling these .62 smooth barrels for $100.
You might have got it bored out for less but I doubt it.
