I’ve shot several with my old Renegade “Thumper”. The one I remember most I shot with my recurve at three yards while turkey hunting. I was sitting in a blowdown and the tote came in to my turkey calling and ran towards my decoys. I gave him a couple of squeaks and it turned and ran straight towards me. I waved my bow at him and as he turned at three yards I got an arrow thru him.
