Reshaped the Traditions Kentucky Pistol

I did some reshaping of the stock, around the lock and fit the brass end cap so, it doesn't stick above the wood. I also did a lite browning of the lock as well as reshaped the trigger guard to give me some more knuckle room. I used some bone black and walnut stain then some danish oil.

Why do you say that ? Danish oil is water resistant. Water molecules cannot penetrate through the surface, because Danish oil has polymerization of small particles. Unless I am mistaken.

I was going to trying it on a firearm once. The WATCO Danish Oil site says not for exterior use.

It can probably take a quickly wiped up spill, but not constant exposure to wet weather.

I have used it on outdoor furniture and it has been holding up, but will be careful with it on the pistol.

It's shooting great! Sems to like the 250 grain LEE R.E.A.L Thanks again for a fun shooting pistol.

That would be a real hit or miss. You could see if they’d provide the center-to-center measurements for the holes and see if they match up to the pistol.
