after i bought this Rifle last year i found some time to revised this Shenandoah Rifle, Stock sanded and oiled,Barrel browned and the Lock tuned and changed the rear sight into a fullsize Buckhorn.

nice shooting with 50 grs Wano Nr 1 , .440 Ball and .25 Patch

For the Target:
7 on six an five o`clock are the first sighters.
Sight adjusted, next 9 on three o`clock all rested on a Bank.
rest of shoots are freehand on 55 Yards. The Rifle shots great and all flyers are my fault.
Have to do some more practise

Klaus

What caliber is this gun that can use a .440 RB and a .25 patch? That's an awfully thick patch. When placed around a ball, it is a half an inch! So the bore must be .94 caliber! Holy mackerel!

Actually it sounds like a 46 caliber. Some 45's were actually 44 (numrich arms ) and some close to 46 (some early GM.)
