A couple of years ago I made a horn that, when completed, I just didn't like. I didn't like the plug, the collar or the color. I put it aside and forgot about it. The color in the photo looks better than the actual lemony yellow color.

Last week I took it apart and made a new collar from horn and a new plug. I re-dyed it a warmer yellow/brown.

I inlayed the 1800 half cent (replica) and made a swivel from brass rod and coat hanger wire. I was ready to photograph it with a new stopper but it started to rain.

Looks real good. I liked the original cap and plug it had also. The coin was a nice touch. I'm getting ready to do a couple but I just haven't gotten into it yet.
