Second does anyone have one of these stocks laying around, I think the cva's will also work?

This one when carved was carved crooked an the handle is canted way to the left when you straighten the handle up an look down the pistol, every thing was carved rotating to the left, figure it will just be easier to replace it. Thanks
Chris

Looks like an early CVA Kentucky befor they replaced the sideplate with the simpler brass "washers". I think this lock will work http://www.trackofthewolf.com/Cate...14&subId=148&styleId=577&partNum=LOCK-LR-01-F My brother has an early CVA Kentucky flintlock rifle and recently replaced the lock with that L&R one. I`m pretty sure the rifles and pistols used the same lock. It took alittle adjustment of the inlaying like track says, but it worked out good for him. If you don`t want to spend that much you might be able to find a CVA flintlock somewhere.

Keep an eye on fleabay, but also be sure to see the lock mortice, they mad stocks for two different locks, the other one has a round back not pointy like yours.
