Last week I took out my .45 Rice and shot 390 gr paper patched bullets and a charge of 100 gr of Goex FFFg.
First shot from a cold clean barrel hit a bit left bit shots 2 thru 5 stacked right in the bull. Range was 50 yards.

Wow! Great combination. May I ask what rate of twist this barrel has? I recently got a Rice 1/70" twist to shoot round balls and it works great..... similar groups at 50yds.

Uhm,, No. That photo does not show a stack in the bull,
It's nine ring with 2 in the ten, with no bull,,(?)
Reality check.(?) Sorry.
don't fret too much,, the flyer is ok,,
try 85-90grns, and keep a clean bore.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not but at 50 yards with open sights and 70 years old that entire 3" black dot is the bull. And that so called flyer was the the 1st shot with a cold clean barrel.
