I must have some kind of obsessive fascination because I can turn this Richard Miller rifle over and over in my hands and never get tired of it. Maybe it’s time to seek some medical help.

I truly believe Mr. Miller might be one of the most underrated gun builders of our time. His work doesn’t get nearly the attention it deserves, and that’s a shame. I’d love to see more examples of his craftsmanship—if you have one of his rifles, feel free to share some photos!

My wife is from Dick's home club. He is a real character. I could watch him work for hours.
I love his Jaeger rifles.

Beautiful rifle. Hunting with it might be comparable to wearing a Rolex in the hood. Lots of jealous eyes looking at that work of art !

Sure. I’ve got other “beater” rifles for that purpose, but this is far from being a safe queen. I regularly take it to rendezvous/club shoots. They’re made to be shot!

They’ll die unless you take em out for a walk every couple of weeks. You got a real top shelf example with that one. I’ve got one in my stable that brings my a lot of pride in owning, but yours takes the race. Enjoy. I had to look at the pictures again today. Unmatched wood carving

Haha, you’re spot on—these beauties need their exercise! I appreciate the kind words. I’m really proud of it, but it sounds like you’ve got a gem yourself. There’s something special about owning a piece that just feels right. I’ll have to see yours sometime, sounds like it’s a stunner too.
