Don’t blame the government. I just bought 4 lbs for 22 bucks a pound. Someone’s being greedy and that someone is on gunbroker.

I've just bought a kilo of ZlotyStok ZS1 Polish Black Powder from a UK dealer for £62 ($86.6) a kilo less carriage (Dangerous Goods Transport). Swiss 1 is now £82 ($114.5) a kilo!!
Even your basic fine Black Powder is £51.60 ($72.00) for a kilo. Makes shooting my cannon (60 grains Swiss 1) an expensive business! Hence the reason to try ZlotyStok!

Glad I don’t have a cannon habit at the price!

It’s ridiculous if people pay that. It’s not that hard to find at regular prices. I have my email address with Grafs to let me know when BP is in stock. I got an email maybe three days ago and sure enough everything was in stock. You just have to be proactive now.
The problem is not anything else except greedy people. And folks that think they need to hoard stuff. It’s there.... and if folks just bought what they used to buy it wouldn’t be near as bad as it is.

I personally am willing to engage with discussions about politics, but I think it might be against the rules to have that disucussion in this area.

I have lost touch with the cost of shipping black powder/caps or primers under haz mat regulations. Can anyone bring me up to date? BTW I live near the ocean and have an abundance of sand available. Was thinking of filling 5 gallon buckets for those wishing to stick their heads into them from the convenience of their homes.

Seems like you're making pretty good use of it there.
