Just started a J. Henry "British" style trade rifle. In the past have used a Chambers late Ketland style lock for these but really wanted it to be historically correct and the only one available is the lock kit from "The Rifle Shoppe". Parts are as cast so this will be a real project. Let the fun begin!

There is a rudimentary cut out in the tumbler for a fly. Will clean this cut out a bit and make a fly. Did one for a Trapdoor Springfield one time so I could use a set of double set triggers on it. At least this tumbler has not been hardened yet. Plan to take a whole series of pictures just on doing the tumbler. Parts cleaned up fairly easily, with the exception of removing the casting sprues this was a cake walk compared to polishing hardened parts from factory assembled locks with parts already hardened.
