I agree with Ghost.
I will never order from them again.
I just don't need the agravation.
IMHO :m2c:

I think we all know the pitfalls by now...
getting back to the question, has anyone ever put together one of their snaphaunce (musket?) locks :)
that is definately one i would be interested in building one day...

Ah yes. I wish I could answer your question about that particular lock from that supplier but can't so I figure that an assembled lock of that type from TRS would be excellent AND expensive, but you get what you pay for. As far as time, call ahead and if they have it in stock they will tell you, if not they will say so. In stock parts are shipped quickly. Patience and planning are key. As far as the statements that they don't answer the phone or reply to emails, that is not my experience at all. Call early in the day (before lunch) and you stand a good chance of talking to someone. All of my emails have been answered within 48 hours. No catalogue? It's on the web with current prices at:

Of that I have no doubts.
I have never heard any complaints about quality or low pricing :agree:
I've also heard that free advice is worth exactly what you paid for it :)

I do most of my day dreaming in the tub. So I'm kinda keen to have the print version instead the electronic version. Besides if I dropt the laptop in the water I would be out a lot more than $12 :)

:: Oh yes! :agree: Like you I prefer the printed catalogue but use the on-line version frequently.

thanks to your prompting, I have been having a ferret around too. The recent addition of more colour photos on the site is a welcome improvement. :)
