rifleing trouble

I had a little incident today I got my ramrod stuck in my rifle and the only way I could get it out was to use a old ball puller with no brass gaurd. when I finally got the thing out I sat it had caught in between the side of the barrel and the edge of the ramrod and it scard my rifling. I have a sicking feeling I will have to have it rebored and re rifled way do yall think

Probably doesn't need anything as drastic as being re rifled. First just shoot it and see how it does.

Cast a lead lap and go to it.

Perhaps a close sized jag and some brass screen wire patches, a bit of valve grinding compound on the screen wire. but as mentioned I would shoot it first and see how it does.
