April 18th will mark the third annual Robert Crockett Longhunter Day. This year will be special in that we will kick things off with a memorial for our friend Captain Titus. Many of you knew Titus as Captain of the militia at Martins Station. He lived in our town of Livingston Tennessee and from the time we organized our long Hunter group, he attended our meetings always the encourager giving us sage advice from his life long passion of historical re-enactments. If you knew him and would like to fire off a shot for him, bring your flintlock and be here for the service by 10am. If you can't make it you might want to go out and fire one off for fallen comrad. Other events will include knife and hawk, fire starting, and a women's skillet throw. You are invited to come take part in our encampment, so put on your outfit and come on to Livingston for a day of historic fun!
