Anybody know where to find a ball mold for the t/c 56 renegade? Ive been using .550 rb with a .018 patch and have exceptional accuracy out to 70yds. I have looked high and low and cant find a mold anywhere. I called lee molds and they said 150.00 set up fee plus standard price for a "custom" mold. Really dont want to spend that much but if its my only option i may consider it. Anyone know of one for sale? Thanks for reading.

I have that barrel and I just use really thick patch with a .535 ball when I use a ball in it. Mainly I just shoot that barrel with shot though...

I looked around for a proper .550 mold and couldn't find one that didn't go over budget for me.

Another vote for Jeff Tanner, I had him make a 590 and 595. Cost about 80.00 by paypal for both. No spru plate, work great. Took awhile to get here but that seemed to be USPS fault and customs I guess. I tried both and like the 595, need to get around to selling the other. He will make any size you want. I think Moose Molds charge 100.00 with handles, they do come with sprue plates and seem to be first rate.

I actually found a guy in Mowho is making me one now for $70. He only gets $50 for standard sizes. His has the cutter built in. His name is Larry Callahan, google him he makes some real nice period correct stuff.
