Personally I am not so concerned about how FAST the ball goes as to WHERE it goes.
If six balls go through one hole who cares about how quickly they got there.
For hunting it is a different thing entirely. Speed means striking force so a trade off of a little less accuracy for increase in striking force is an acceptable trade.

I got both. I began with 25 grns of energetic powder with a bullet which should produce about .44 Spl performance, my baseline for humane. My NMA does best with 30 grns and my ROA does best with 35 grns. Now I intend on modifying my bullet design again so that the chamber excess is filled with more lead. Accurate and plenty powerful. I don’t look for one over the other.
