Yes, technically it’s a .450 bore with .454 groove diameter. As Az notes it uses a .457 ball.

One Achilles Heel is the base pin, Fail to pay attention to the cross bolt lock on it and it’s easy to have it back out and bend right at the notch when ramming a ball home in a chamber. I bent one when I first started shooting them.
