I got to say, I drop them out of the mold then look at them, smooth, not frosted or wrinkled, no holes then it shoots.

shooting just for fun at my your targets I shoot anything that comes out of the mold. For Roo-voos or club shooting wrinkled or frosted they stay home.

I cast pure lead at about 800*. You need a thermometer to cast quality bullets. Preheat the mold well. Smoke the cavity. I strongly prefer a bottom pour pot. Use a glove to open the sprue cutter if you can, otherwise a wood large dowel. I hope the claw hammer in the photo never touched the mold or sprue cutter plate.

It did! But only the wooden handle . LOL
