Just curious if any others place out salt blocks and what sort of? I have the 'flavored' sort - acorn or apple - they seem to like it and the mineral cattle blocks.
Bureaucracy is amazing huh...no to salt blocks, but OK for mineral blocks :shake:.Swamp Rat said:Salt licks are illegal here but the brown mineral blocks are not. I put a 50 lb mineral block out each spring for them.

One guy I know usually gets a dumptruck load of pumpkins. You want to see the deer kicking open the pumpkins.
Unfortunately,Private land in this area is pretty much locked up tight as bow hunters usually get permission first since there no min. acreage requirements to bowhunt.. 10 acre min. for any type of long gun hunting. My hunting ground is located outside the bait zone.
