I know it's a touchy subject , but I live about tweny miles from Gettysburg, Pa. There are times the deer look like dairy cattle in the fields. I know it's a national battle field but they will not let the pulic take any of the animals. They have hired snipers to shoot them at night , but on the up side they have begun to use the animals in the food banks locally , whereas before they just disposed of them - what a waste!!

Have used lucky buck by the pail full with excellent results. Comes in 20 pound pails and smells like apples, but is a mineral with they like and is good for them. Brown in color, but the deer will find it by smell. Once they find it they really dig an area up for it.
