Another safe queen.
EN Santa Barbara 1858 Remington 44 in display case. Case has key.
Action is great, bore and cylinder chambers look good. Nice clean revolver. Has light bolt drag marks. A few handling marks, some light blems and maybe scratches. Nothing serious that I can see.
I don't see a serial number on it. So I don't know the date of it.
Asking $650 for the whole set up. Shipping included.
Check or money order accepted. Have a few electronic payments if preferred.

Will have a date code in a small box stamped somewhere. Such revolvers are not dated by serial number.

Ok, I read somewhere that the Santa Barbara doesn't have a date code. They go by the serial number. I think I seen one that has the serial number under the grips. I'll check that.
Thanks
Santa Barbara revolvers do not have a date code. The serial number is on the underside of the barrel.

I checked there also. Nothing. All I found was under the grips on the grip frame.
I have two Santa Barbara revolvers and have had a couple more besides these and all of them are and were stamped on the underside of the barrel with MADE BY E.N. SANTA BARBARA (Shield w/ sword through it) SPAIN (star-proof) then serial number. They are in the three and six thousand serial number range. I just checked under the grips on mine and there are no stampings. Just inked last four of the serial number on the inside of each grip. Maybe the very early ones were marked differently. Odd that it wouldn't have a serial number on the outside. I would say your pistol is serial number 00121.
