. Well with Christmas just around the corner I thought I'd better get something finished for a shooting buddy of mine. This one measures approx. 13" along the curve and is 2-1/4" in diameter. I haven't put his name on it yet (he might be lurking on this forum and see it :wink: ).

For the Fish Mouth I use a varity of tools; .....a hacksaw blade and various files and sand papers.............but mostly patience :wink: .
Take your time; that's the secret

That's an awesome horn, Soggy! Great job on the whale mouth. I've tried that twice, now I have two small flat horns instead! :cursing: :rotf:

Good Tansel horn Soggy! I see you've been reading Sibley's book too. :grin:
What scrim tools do you use on your horns? I mostly use a knife I made from a jig saw blade, but I'm always looking for something better...
