Hmmm. Never read where people were looking for them. Maybe you're onto something! If the demand is there, the same clever inventors may come up with something! American Ingenuity!
I dont see how it would be done with the wings on the musket caps. maybe someone that works in a plant that makes them can see what kind of die and process is used

I laid into No. 10’s and No. 11’s over the past years when the good was going and have several thousands.

It’s musket caps I’m dangerously low on. These are like trying to locate a hen’s tooth in a haystack in the middle of a thunderstorm.

I've got hundreds of the Top Hat style Musket caps not needed, I'd trade them for No. 10 & 11's with you if I was over there.

#10/#11 caps...1 cap per shot? Why worry, stop the whining....get a flintlock!
More sporting than cap/ball, was in use for over 250 years building America compared to maybe <30 years for caps and I can get 15-20 shots out of a good flint or twice that out of a great flint! Or if you don't want to whine or be sporting, go buy a centerfire which has been around since the 1870's! Whew!

Are there any aluminum can cap makers for musket caps these days?
I have found musket caps at shows for $20 per 100.
There is a YouTuber that made them , drilling a hole in a piece of wood. He used disposable turkey pan for the metal and an appropriate size wooden dowel to press it into the hole.
Metal was pre cut and trimmed after shaping.
