User name Goli0 is a scam artist. Sent him 300 for an 1862 police like an idiot and never heard back…
Contacted the authorities in his hometown and said that there were other issues at that address. For everyone’s protection, just be aware! Happy new year
put the address up

Cannot find goli0 as a member. What am I missing? Only a mod can delete a posting. How long ago?
I looked shortly after OP posted scam warning and could not find any posts by Goli0; big red flag. Maybe scammer was already deleted by Angie?

Interested in details of how scam worked; these scammers can be very good at what they do.

Yeah, he deleted his profile and all the information he had. It’s not there anymore. Big surprise. I pm’d loyalist Dave about the whole situation as well..

How many posts did this POS have when he posted the ad?

I avoid responding to any for sale ad where the poster has very few posts.

Some forums do not allow posts in the classified section unless the poster has X number of posts. Of course the number varies per the forum but I think it is a good idea and should be instituted on this forum. Perhaps 25 to 50 posts would be reasonable. It's like a lock on your door, some times a thief can't be bothered and moves on to easier pickens.. If some scammer has to have 50 posts before they can post in the classifieds, many just won't be bothered. Something to consider!

I think it is that way here unless you buy the 2.99 membership but I could be mistaken. It's been a few years.
