A oldtimer at our club is looking for an old style scope to put on his older muzzleloader He said they were brass . He needs this as he can not see the egg any longer at a meat shoot. Any Ideas I have not seen them myself

Yes...they are available but pricy! The ones I saw were over $400.00 and that dont include the mounts which are also expensive !!!
I cant remember where they are buy someone who knows will chime in here .....

Dixie Gun Works has the long brass scope And mounts. I bought one years ago, and put it on a Zouave. Works ok Eye relief is critical. field of view is small. Looks cool on the gun though. hope you like to polish brass. Good luck, shoot center.

Green Mountain has a drop in barrel for the T/C Hawken with the scope already mounted.

The "Sharpshooter" barrel with scope and mounts

LRH barrel cut specifically for Heavy Lead Conical 50 caliber bullets, 32" length with a cut rifled 1:24" twist. The barrel is topped off with a Leatherwood Optics Malcom 6X Telescopic sight....

I can not help on a scope but I use a red dot type on my 54 cal. It shows up real nice on a deer. In Wisconsin you can only use a1 power scope.
ezyed

The fellow who list the old Navy arms scope usually list a new scope the day after the last one sells.Might want to keep checking on this

Go on E-bay and look under "VINTAGE SCOPES". They have some w/low magnification and some of the prices won't break the bank!
