Whoops! I didn't realize this was a WTB thread....sorry!

I bought a Cult of Athena 1796 Heavy Cav. Saber. It is ok if it stays in the scabbard. Displays well in my man cave along side my 95th rifles fatigue cap. I'm not sure I would buy one for top notch living history display.

I would spend more $$ for a better quality one.

Well I thought I'd throw it out here and see if anyone has one they are looking to get rid of. I have been looking at the ones made by Cold Steel and Hanwei for a 1750's-1760's 42nd Royal Highland Regiment. I would possibly be open to other brands as well, so if you have one you're thinking about selling, please get in touch!
Look at the Swords Direct site; they have lots, don't know about what you're looking for, but can't hurt to look.

Museum Replicas has several scotch basket hilts for sale. I have several swords from them , high quality and durable.

I should clarify this. I think at this point I have narrowed it down to looking for the sharpened Cold Steel baskethilt or sharpened Hanwei baskethilt, both with the leather wrapped scabbards. If anyone has either of these for sale I am interested.
