I'm not that great at all this building and stuff but I'm happy with what I do.
Here's screws for my next build.Blow the pics up they look better.

I like them. I’m a little different. I don’t care for a lot of carving or patch boxes. I love pretty wood. But you can’t have enough engraving on a gun for me. I love it. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll ever have that skill. I’ll just drool over Dave Person’s guns. Lol

I'm the same I can rough a gun together and they look pretty good. Can't carve or engrave. Starting to get away from patch boxes they hide to much wood fir me.Thats the first time I ever tried fancying screws up. Not oro but I don't think they will shame the #5 grade curly maple I'm going to try and build.

Here's the shape I made on the end of this 6in. Tang one of those screws will be a little above where the finial starts.

Looks great but with my eyes, I would hunt for the right slot for the screwdriver.
