Hey folks.
I did my Aquafortis last night so now it's time for sealer. Jow long can I wait between coats? The instructions just say to wait until dry and steel wool between coats? I'm using Perymaylan sealer and gun Finnish. Is 24 he between coats too long?

My can matches their website 4 hrs. Min. Their instructions are under instructions on the website.

Don't use steel wool!! It stinks in my opinion. You will have fine metal fibers all over your work. Get a Scotch Brite green pad. Can't help you with your sealer, cuz I use polymerized tung oil.

I have both the Permalyn Sealer and Stock finish, the latter which has longer drying times. When”fresh” the sealer, which should be applied in thin coats, dries pretty fast,…Less then 6 hours. You lightly buff with maroon ScotchBrite between applications. The final coat can be ether buffed out, rubbed, or left as a varnish type finish depending on personal preference.

I like the Permalyn Sealer for both the sealer and finish. The first three or four applications I wait 4 hours before applying the next set. Then I will give the next three or four coats 8 hours between coats then the last three or four coats 24 hours to cure. I do use 4/0 steel wool after the first three or four applications and then after the next three or four applications and after the final finish has been totally cured - about after one week to knock off the shine. ;)
