I made a ramrod for my cva mountain rifle. I think the ramrod that came with it is original. I turned the brass on my lathe, and bought a piece of poplar 3/8 dowel. It’s all I could get my hands on. I fit and epoxied everything together then turned down some brass stock for a pin at each end. It works great. I didn’t want to break the original. I ordered a brass range rod and it showed up yesterday.

Most everything that didn’t involve blacksmith/whitesmith/tinker skills. Chargers, ball blocks, bags, much of my clothing, a few tents, rope, tanned hides,, moccs, New Mexican shoes, ramrods, some horn work, have never made a powder horn though, jack ware, dipped and cast candles, salt pork, pemmican, ships bread, knife sheaths, boxes

Possibles bag, knife sheath, shotgun scabbard, ball pouches, a quiver, 1858 holster, powder horns and powder measures. I’ve made several mistakes, have learned from these mistakes, and am laying out a few new designs.

Loading blocks, antler powder measures, two powder horns, short starters, several ramrods, range rods, possibles bag, combo screw driver and flash hole pick. I'm sure there's something I left out.

I make every thing I use, except the powder, caps, and flints. Years ago I made my own powder but it wasn't consistant, and I am knapping impaired.
