Last week I finally got a chance to get up north and work in some woods time.
I took a T/C Seneca .45 and combined a squirrel hunt with a little deer scouting.

This gray is one of two I took with the Seneca. My load was .440 RB in a pillow tick patch lubed with Murphy's Oil Soap over 30 grains of 3f black powder.

The winter berry crop is the best I've ever seen; hard to believe that I didn't kick up any ruffed grouse.

Glad to see that Seneca in the woods. I have healed up from shoulder surgery and have switched my 32 Seneca barrel over to my 45 barrel and am going to try it on Deer this year. Have to spend a little time with the 32 Cherokee for Squirrel as the leaves are starting to fall.
