Does anyone have 7196 TC peep sight that was made for the Cherokee and Seneca rifles? If so I would like to know the width. I have a TC made rear peep but I am not sure if it was made for the full size rifles or the smaller rifles. My sight measures .500. It looks like it could be used on either one.

The #7196 is for the Seneca.& Cherokee.

The one in the pic below is not the 7196 but illustrates the Thompson Center sight chart.

It looks like mine is for the full size Hawken. I had it mounted on a Cherokee for a while and it worked fine but is a little wider than the tang on that rifle.

I have one of these sights and my snivel is that there seems to be no lock elevation wise. Wind age is accomplished by loosening the eye cup and manually move it side to side , then tighten the eye cup buy9 the elevation screw has no apparent lock for it.

Mine also is the
.500 inch base which makes it a large.

Edit;
Looks like I may have jumped in prematurely here. My peep is the vernier type that TC had available for the Hawken rifle. Srry if I derailed this thread.
