I picked up a really nice rifle on these boards, found the trigger adjustment screw is missing. They are Davis triggers for sure. Any idea what thread size I need? And where can I get such an item? BF

Might want to take the trigger to a local hardware store first and try fitting a screw for a few cents. Might be a 3-48 thread. If not order from Davis.

Contact The R.E. Davis Company through email at [email protected]. You may also call 419-833-1200 or send a fax to 480-275-3220.

On contacting Davis,; I broke the back trigger on a double set while bending it, I ordered a new trigger from Davis, they put it on back order.

6 months later still no trigger, I noticed Track has just gotten them back in stock so that is where I will order one, the price is the same as from Davis.

I've been attempting to contact Davis by phone, so far no luck.

Heck of a way to run a railroad.

Along with needing that screw, the frizzen needed replacement. It's an L&R Durs Egg. Sent the lock back to them, new frizzen installed at no charge, refaced the older one and included the adjustment screw to boot! Must be the correct size as I mentioned the triggers were Davis. What a company to deal with!!! :v

Prior to contacting L&R, I wrote to Davis about the adjustment screw, They finally replied that a new screw was on the way, no charge. Another fine company to deal with! BF
