I purchased a used Pedersoli Sharps with set trigger. The set trigger has always been a bit tough to set but the resulting trigger pull awesome! I got the rifle out the other day and discovered that I could not pull the set trigger enough to set the front one. The gun is spanking clean. The gun still drops the hammer ok and the pull seems to be a little lighter than it was before the set jammed (or however you want to describe it) without setting.
Has anyone else had this happen or have a fix for it? I have not had time to disassemble the rifle to do a complete inspection as yet.

If you have been setting/dry firing the triggers with the lock at half cock you could've damaged them. The only way to know is to pull the trigger group.
