I have had this nice box since the 1980s. I just kept a few items in it which today have not value or interest any more. The box is beautifully made of wood, which, unfortunately I do not know the variety. The pictures speak for themselves as to the quality of work. I will ship for $50. Thanks for looking.

Interested. Any idea of what finish?

Not sure. Does not appear to be
anything substantial. Maybe oil based, but that is a pure guess. It has been in a file cabinet drawer for 40+ years.
