Hello all were on a recruiting drive for our group. If your in Western Pa and are looking for a re-enactment group to Join Let me suggest the Legion of the United States. The Legion was formed in 1792 to open the Ohio Territory. Our group re-creates that forgotten time period from 1792 to 1796 focusing on the time spent at the encampment at Legion Ville (26 miles south of Pittsburgh) We are looking for members to fill our ranks our group is small but we would like to grow a bit. We have need of Infantry, and Artillery troops ( we have a King Howitzer and only one man for the crew now) Drop me a line and we can discuss more about the group and please visit our web site at www.legionville.com
