Hey fellers, Miss Tudy made another Sharps scabbard for a friend. It took 2 deer hides, afew beads and alot of thinking an her part to get it to come together. It has a padded pouch for his scope, when he opts to take it off and a pouch for his accessories all sewn by hand. Also, it has long fringe at both ends.
Overall it is 44" and at the widest it is 9". Hope y'all like it...Bud and Miss Tudy

I need you to send that lady up to Wisconsin for a while. I have a lot of deer skins that could use her touch; I'll even furnish the beads. Nice work!!

Now that's a sweetheart, "the new owner was pleased", I should hope so!!! I have a 74 sporting rifle that would feel right at home snuggled inside that sleeve.HHHMMMMM I have two deer hides that match that color, looks like another project in the wings. Although mine doesn't sport a telescopic sight, that will make construction a little easier. Please pass my admiration to Miss Tudy on her craftsmanship, she certainly is a master of needle and thread  . I hope she won't be irate that I would use her work as a model.
