Does anyone have experience in shipping a flintlock weapon from the US into Canada? Flintlick guns are a "cash and carry" item in Canada and require no registration or gun license to purchase. I don't know if this means they can be shipped across border easilly? The more I learn, the more I can see that, if I want to purchase a quality flintlock (especially a used model) it will likely come from the US. The market in Canada is minimal. Any help is appreciated!

While Flintlock rifles and muskets don't need to be registered, Flintlock hanguns are registerd firearms. A flintlock is still considered a firearm here, just not having to be registered. I believe you will find you have to have an FFL and Firearms Import Licence to import one, Baron. Call the local Customs office and ask - they'll know. The OPP probably don't know about imorting flinters and it may take some searching to find someone who does. You could also call Miramachie(Firearms centre).
; Did you check out the Track site for the firearms they have listed for sale? I'm not talkng about their kits, but completed firearms on coinsignment. There are a few very nice ones there.
