 Has anyone had success shooting clay pigeons with a Howdah 20 X 20,or other black powder pistol?

I'd like to find a way to throw pigeons slow enough, close enough, and consistent enough to be able to hit them with a Howdah 20 X 20.

Thanks for your ideas.

I, also, would like to try this. And I probably will once the weather becomes more cooperative. If you are shooting alone, the method preferred by all the "trick" shooters is to toss them by hand - usually more than one or two so that the whole package has enough mass to throw - and them mount the gun and shoot. That last part is what takes all the practice and breaks the most clays (on the ground).
You will be able to do it and so will I. Just need to take the time.
Pete
