Thanks for posting. I currently own no BP pistols and have been thinking about one for some time. I see Cabela's sells this one finished for $370. Cabela's Pedersoli Kentucky Best price I've found. I'd probably rub back that "too blue" finish on the barrel a bit as shipped.

I don't know why Pedersoli, who builds pretty good guns, insists on using those crappy sights on so many of their guns. If I do order one, I'll be ready with new sights in hand to install.

I hear you Don. That was a filming session where I tried to do too much...trying to make up for all the lost range days due to bad weather.

By the time I got to the pistol I had already been at the range for six hours. I just ran out of time before I could do all the scenes that I'd wanted to.
