I've shot my Pietta Remington 1858 replica several times now. This is a very short (7 seconds) slow-motion video of it taken with my son's GoPro camera.

I only loaded it with a small powder charge with a felt wad on top; no ball at all. I figured it would give a nice muzzle flash that way and I was right as you will see.
