i have a pedrosoli 12 double ,got a turkey with it at 33yds, 60 grains 2f goex, over powder wad, plastic cup(cut off piston )1 1\4 oz # 4 shot, 2 overshot wads.tried everything up to 90 gr of powder and 2 0z of shot, 60grs seemed to work in this gun,i,ve also shot roundball ,but still playing with diff. combo,s, its a fun gun to shoot but with its light weight recoil can be stout with heavy charges.

I had a Navy Arms .12ga for a while and didn't like it the way it came to me...too short and too light for me.

Added a slip on rubber recoil pad to add another inch LOP, added more weight into the butt by drilling a large hole and filling it with #9 shot, and added more weight under the barrels with a solid 3/8" stainless steel ramrod...all that helped a lot.

But when I moved into Flintlocks I got rid of it and had a .62cal GM Flint smoothbore barrel Jug Choked 'full' as a turkey gun and it's fantastic...
