Not too great but not too bad either, I invited one of my neighbors over to shoot too since he has never shot a muzzleloader before. Out of the last 4 shots three are in or near to the orange. I was shooting 85 grains of 2f and using a .020 lubed patch over a wad with a .650 ball. Without the wad it was getting heavy fouling. Then loaded it up with 1 oz of shot just goofing around. Just makes me want to go out and shoot some more.
(all of this was offhand at 25yds, no bench today)

If that was a 12" sticker I'm shootin some big ole balls :shocked2:

Thanks fellas, just thought I would report on my progress.

I've got a few ideas for shooting shot that I want to try out, the pattern of #6's pretty much covered the hole piece of card board at 25 yds.
I really need to just shoot it off the bench now and make sure to get it to shoot a tight group.

:shocked2: My god Roy, what are you doing?
You´re busting the "I never have time to shoot" - excuse... :shake:

Anyway go on, it looks like you won´t need an excuse very often in the future.

 never said that I didn't know how to shoot  I'll realy find out how it does from a bench, looks promising though.

 Ya just can't see the other shots :haha: Its the last ones that got me all excited though.

Yeah but you got to admit the bow is a lot easier to clean after shooting
