A small leather shot pouch with an antler spout, plug with integral shot measure and an antler nipple pick.

The leather wrap was copied from a weave found on an old wine cask.

The items were made from spare parts around the house. :)

The powder measure holds 80 gr. of shot.

How does the soft leather rather than rigid work out for dispensing shot? I've always wanted to try it, but haven't got around to it yet.

Really nice work, BTW!

Thank you! :)

I flared the inside of the antler "neck" to widen it. So far I have not had a problem using it. About like trying to drink from a bota.

I'm in awe of the hard leather ones. Once I get a few more projects finished I will have to try one.

They're easy as pie, but you gotta be careful not to make them too big. Fist-sized holds about 3 pounds of shot if you fill it. My next one is going to be about the size of a fat lemon, and I bet it holds a pound!

There are pics of my fist-sized creation in this thread, along with others experience handling shot. I used the metal spout cuzz I had it on hand, but I want to try my hand at horn like yours on the next one. The whole thread is a good read. You flask stands proud with everything there!
