put about 25 shots through the american fowler today. using a .590 ball (rapine mold I just got) .018 pillow ticking, ball loaded easy, but not too easy, 60 gr. 3f goex, shooting at 25 yards, offhand I managed to keep all but one shot on a piece of typing paper, better yet was that there is 9 holes in the 2 3/4" black circle in the middle of the paper. I think I am gonna like this gun. still working on a decent shot pattern, hopefully by fall I will have a decent pattern worked out. flinch

Half the enjoyment of a new gun is unlocking it's secrets, learning how to extract the best performance from her and then refining it to a well oiled shooting system...

If every gun was to shoot dead center from the very start, where would the challenge be? :hmm:
