Is any one aware of any books out there with original SXS muzzelloading shotguns in them. I have William Brockways book, and that does have some original guns. I am looking for many more pictures of the style. Any ideas?

 

if you can find the double gun journals , they have some very good info . It only comes out I think 3 times a year and is high priced but great read. it covers all doubles modern , cartradge BP shotguns and rifle as well as muzzleloaders

also has many great exsamples


also you might search the action houses as many of the higher class sites place very nice photos on their SXS .
but ha when they are selling them at 50 to 74 tho i guess they can lol

If you can find it, California Gunsmiths 1849-1900 by Lawrence P. Shelton has several good examples of SXS shotguns with good photos.
