Check Gun Broker and eBay. In the past 12 months there have been at least 5 Navy stocks, 3 Army stocks (all of them Colt made), and 1 Dragoon stock show-up for sale there.I am looking for a shoulder stock for a Pietta 1860 Army revolver or a stock for a Uberti 3rd model Dragoon. If you have one to sell, please let me know.
I hear you, but since these stocks are all out of production, it's supply and demand driving the prices. $400 is about the lowest I saw a stock sell for last year. There are a couple on eBay now, but they are very expensive. I realize that one would have to give more for those stocks than he used to, but $550 is just too much for me.
That would be more reasonable- I just can't pay $550 for one.I hear you, but since these stocks are all out of production, it's supply and demand driving the prices. $400 is about the lowest I saw a stock sell for last year.
The one eBay posting showing the stock mounted on a fluted Army will accept offers. Make one. Sometimes it works out. Good Luck with your search. That would be more reasonable- I just can't pay $550 for one.
I did. It seems he is pretty firm on his price. The one eBay posting showing the stock mounted on a fluted Army will accept offers. Make one. Sometimes it works out. Good Luck with your search.
There you go; overpriced, but out these. Probably all are Pietta Navy stocks. They are the type most commonly found for sale these days.Actually there's three on ebay. $550, $650 and $999.99.
All are obo.
It's still there. Along with two other."There are a couple on eBay now, but they are very expensive. I realize that one would have to give more for those stocks than he used to, but $550 is just too much for me."
well it must have sold or I'm entering the wrong search string. will keep looking.
I'll keep an eye out in my area for you one never knows what we'll find in some dusty corner of our favorite mom n pop gun shops.I am looking for a shoulder stock for a Pietta 1860 Army revolver or a stock for a Uberti 3rd model Dragoon. If you have one to sell, please let me know.
I've seen it done. Since the Dragoon is a bigger (wider) frame than the Army, you gotta do some fancy grinding on it.oh. found it. but I don't think the stock for a colt 1860 army will fit a unearth 3rd model dragoon?
