I would like one but they are hard to find in good shape

Pure art Roby. That is just artwork! The detail is hard to take in all at once. Very tastefully done. This is one I will have to keep coming back to look at. No other one like it.

Forgive me I don't mean to overdo it on the compliment towards this rifle and your work. This is probably. the most beautiful rifle I have ever seen. I have seen a few, I'm in the gunmaker's guild.

A beautiful rifle!

 

[The Miner '49er]

A matched pair of hand engraved and checkered Uberti derringers, made in the mid '80's and never fired. They are nearly exact copies of Henry Deringer Jr's handguns. The mountings are sterling silver with a touch of gold banding on the barrels. Never fired, and never will be, at least by me. They are the only guns I have that are not to be shot. I can appreciate them for the outstanding examples of gun makers art.

Yes they are, the typical 7 grooves and 7 lands, deep cut rifling that was Henry's hallmark.

My newest isaac haines style .62 rifle with 38 in octagon to round and swamped Rice barrel with 1:66 twist, Chambers large Siler lock. Stocked in extra fancy maple.
